Brand new, never used 1/4" core box or round nose router bit with 1/4" shank for fluting trim and other detail work.  Fits all 1/2" shank routers with a simple adapter usually included in with the router itself.  C3 Micrograin Carbide cutting edge provides a good balance of strength and durability.  Harder C4 carbides wear somewhat more slowly, but are also more brittle, meaning they are more likely to chip in an encounter with an unseen nail or embedded rock.  Softer C1 and C2 Carbides wear more quickly, but are likewise the most resistant to shock damage.  All Carbide cutting edges wear at a rate at least 10x slower than their high speed steel equivalents.   -Shank and body steel heat treated for stability -Low kickback design -Max RPM: 27500 As always, the items I sell on eBay are items that I use, and that I find to be of particular value. These router bits are no exception!  They are the only 1/4" shank bits i use, and they stand up to the highest priced name brand equivalents with absolutely no downside.  Opposite the case of circular and chainsaw blades with flat tips intended only to cut a line, many router bits have detailed cutting edges with critical clearance sizes that cut perfectly only when the edge is virgin.  Additionally, most of us don't have the capacity to machine sharpen curved edges common to all but straight bits, so the carbide tip ends up being wasted when we toss old bits to buy new ones.  These bits last as long as any others I have ever used.  If intended for occasional use, they should pretty much last forever, and again, if you beat your bits and dull them frequently, I dare anyone to find a way to restore the carbide edge for less than the cost of a shiny new one of these... Use them like disposable HSS bits, but enjoy the 10x longer life!      Items I sell as new are always new and unused, but I reserve the right to re-parcel items packaged and sold in bulk, or occasionally to remove factory packaging in light of shipping cost and efficiency.  In the even that an original package is removed from an item, I try to be sure all relevant bar codes and UPC's are included as well as all items and paperwork packaged.   Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions before or after sale.   Thanks for viewing!
