This high-quality sheet is made of clear acrylic plexiglass in a cell cast virgin material. With a size of 1" x 14.25" x 10.25", this top-grade sheet is masked on both sides with protective masking, which can be made of either paper or plastic. The sheet has a nominal thickness of 1", with slight variances between sheets being normal. The edges are square machined/saw cut, and the sheet has superior optical properties with a mirror-smooth, clear surface. This clear acrylic plexiglass sheet has exceptional weathering characteristics. It will not yellow even after long years of exposure to sunlight, and colors won't fade. For customers who need the piece cut down to a custom size, free square edge cutting is offered. This sheet comes slightly oversized from the dimensions but never under. For customers purchasing multiple items, the shipping will be combined. The sheet stock is wrapped in heavy corrugated material, which provides protection during shipping, ensuring that it arrives in excellent condition. With its superior optical quality, unmatched durability, and resistance to the elements, this clear acrylic plexiglass sheet is the perfect material for various applications that require transparency and functionality. Cell cast acrylic sheet is manufactured between individual glass plates and is up to 17 times more impact-resistant than the finest optical glass while weighing only half as much. It can be worked with most wood tools and can be formed into various shapes that are both interesting and functional. Additionally, it is resistant to many chemicals and maintains stability under sustained exposure to the elements. The manufacturing process for cell cast acrylic sheet is laborious and time-consuming, involving heat treatment and annealing under pressure. This results in the highest quality sheet available with exceptional optical quality.
