Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Automatic Drinking Cup - 10 Pack - Why automatic cups? - Much like Nipple Drinkers (sold separately), drinker cups are an innovative way to provide always-fresh water to your poultry flock. - Traditional buckets and cups, on the other hand, need to be changed frequently, and are prone to contamination. - The cup is automatically filled. As a bird drinks, the spring-loaded tab is bumped, releasing more water. "Side Mount" VS "Bottom mount" Style Cups - Depending on the design of your system, you may opt to mount your cups to either the side, or bottom of your water source. - These drinker cups support both mounting methods! They will be shipped to you configured for side-mounting. If you wish to mount to the bottom instead, simply detach the black mounting portion of the cup, turn 180 degrees, and re-attach! How to install - Drill a 3/8 inch hole in your PVC pipe or other receptacle, such as a bucket. - Apply a small amount of silicone sealant or teflon plumbing tape to the threaded part of the cup. - Simply twist threaded end into the hole you drilled so that the fit is flush and snug, but do NOT over-tighten. Special Notes Cups can be disassembled for cleaning without removing the threaded end from the bucket or pipe. Thus, your seal remains intact. ***VERY IMPORTANT*** Cups are designed to be fed from a low-pressure water source (5 psi or less), such as a gravity-fed system, or a water line with a pressure regulator installed.
