Thanks for checking out our listing!  This auction includes a set of 10 hatching eggs from our lovely Swedish Flower Hens. This flock is in it's first cycle of laying, and they are laying heavy right now. Our stock is directly from Greenfire Farms. Our pen consists of 2 roosters and 7 hens. Genetics - Our flock is from the imported 2014 Greenfire Farms Line. If you have old stock of SFH, this line will be a great addition to your genetics. This flock includes both crested and non crested hens, your chicks will carry the genes to be either crested or non.  About our Farm We run a small hobby farm in the heart of Missouri. We are NPIP certified in Missouri - 43-873 for Pullorum-Typhoid Clean and H5\H7 AI Clean. We practice bio security extensively, no outside visitors are allowed on the farm without proper protocols. Rest assured the health of our birds is not taken lightly. Each coop provides each bird with at least 4 square feet of space, and they are provided fresh water, fresh layer crumbles and veggies every day, and plenty of grass to free range on rotation days (we free range each pen in a daily rotation, close them up at night for protection). I take pride in our little hobby farm setup, and will provide as much information or photos to show that even though it is a "hobby" farm, we take this job very seriously.   We have many other breeds, you can either message us or check out our other listings. Chocolate Turkeys, Silver Appleyard Ducks, East Frisian Gulls, Bielefelders, French Black Copper Marans, Rhode Island Reds, Buff Orpingtons, English Lavender Orpingtons, Swedish Flower Hens and Cinnamon Queens (sex-linked red, proliferate egg layers), Silkies, Tolbunt Polish and Gold Lace Polish.  Shipping Eggs will be no older than 7 days old before arriving to you. Before shipping, they will be kept inside our climate controlled office, turned 1-2 times daily in order to ensure the eggs arrive with the highest probability of hatching.  We individually wrap each egg with bubble wrap, then pack the eggs inside a flat rate shipping box. We charge a little extra over the cost of the flat rate because we pay for bubble wrap and packing materials, and the extra time and care that goes into ensuring that your eggs arrive in the best possible state! We will only ship Mondays-Wednesday in order to beat the odds of your delivery being stuck over the weekend.  If you eggs arrive damaged due to a fault of our packing, please notify us immediately (within 24 hours of receiving shipment). We will replace or refund accordingly if the fault is our own. If the box is damaged, that is a shipping issue, and will need to be taken up with the courier service. But please feel free to notify us of ANY issues. We are a completely transparent hobby farm, and want to ensure that we are providing the best service possible. If you want us to use any special labeling on the box please let us know. If you do not notify us before shipping to label it a specific way, then we will assume to ship without any labeling. In the past, these are some examples of recommended labeling: Phone number and "Leave at post office, call for pickup" Eggs - DO NOT XRAY      LIVE EMBRYOS - FRAGILE FRAGILE! THIS SIDE UP  Hatching This part is completely up to you. We do not guarantee a hatch rate, or that your eggs won't be mishandled during the shipping. We will do our best on our end to ensure we are stacking the cards in your favor, but once they reach the post office for shipping, we are not in control. There is lots of information out on the web to read about, but we found the most comprehensive all around guide for chickens is Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens - Gail Demprow.  K&V Acres - Rare Breed Poultry  - Facebook kvacres.com - Website
