Up for bids is a set of taps  -various manufacturers- such as Do All /Bath /Hypro/ Greenfield/ Bay State/ Butterfield /Winter /and Card If you want specific brands email me. Cleaned inspected and the hard part was reading the small letters and numbers rolled around the shaft. You should have all three for thread work. Then you need the correct drill.  In this case it's #25. Not provided Also use the best taps you can if they snap off into the hole they are almost impossible to get out unless you use  an electric disintegration machine or flute engagement back off  tool. you can't drill/EZ them out like stuck bolts. Thanks for looking. Harlan \ Basic tap types: Taper tap: 5-6 lead threads ground. The easiest tap for starting to thread a hole. Plug tap: 3-4 lead threads ground. The most common tap: a "middle ground" tap for threading. Bottoming tap: 1-2 lead threads ground. Used for continuing to thread a blind hole close to the bottom of the hole. It's difficult to start threading a hole with this tap. Spiral Point tap: A tap with a chisled point that pushes metal chips ahead of the forming threads. Extremely useful for tapping through-holes (ie holes that extend through the work.) Often machine-driven. Spiral Point taps are not recommended for use in blind holes: the accumulation of chips can tend to bind and break these taps more easily than others.
