BRK2X5 Dual row 0.1" spaced male pin header 10 Pins (2 x 5) Header ejectors and box headers available Solder pad connection space for all 10 lines Supports addition of .1" pin headers Rubber feet and DIN rail mounting options available General Description This breakout board brings all 10 pins of its male dual row header out to screw terminal blocks for easy connection and prototyping work. Each pin is also brought to solder pads (4 per pin) at 0.1" spacing, allowing easy addition of 0.1" pin headers. Please note that the breakout boards are manufactured with a connection between each connector pin and the corresponding screw terminal; no soldering of any type is necessary. The solder pads simply provide an area for making optional connections to headers or other components.This break out board is perfect for experimentation and prototype work, as well as for use in the educational laboratory. It is well-suited for interfacing with microcontroller programming circuits, I/O ports, DAQ equipment, and any other device that uses a 2x5 10-position header connector. Breakout boards are available with two different styles of headers: A shrouded "box" header with no ejectors, and a header with long ejector latches. "Long ejectors" indicates that the ejectors are the correct length to accomodate IDC connectors with strain reliefs installed. A dual row header is sometimes referred to as an "IDC Header", "IDC connector", or "ribbon cable connector". A breakout board is sometimes referred to as a "transition module", "terminal board", or "interface module". DIN Rail Mount Version The BRK2X5 is also available with DIN rail mounting clips for quick and convenient mounting where DIN rail is used. Product numbers ending with -DIN come with DIN clips already installed and ready to mount. The clips allow mounting on standard 35mm rail as well as 32mm rail.
