You will receive 12 - 4 ounce tubes of Haynes Lubri-Film Food Grade Lubricant. This product is used to lubricate the hopper seals, auger shafts, auger shaft bushings and seals on the Ultra and CDS machines as well as the O-rings on the CDS faucet. Every time you remove the hoppers for cleaning you need to use this lubricant where the large clear silicone seal and hopper meet, between the clear silicone nose bushing and auger shaft, and all o-rings on the CDS faucet (remember to never lubricate the flat faucet gaskets on the Ultra machines). When you change the auger shaft bushings and seals (every six months) you need to lubricate the auger shaft with this lubricant. This is also the correct lubricant to use on any food equipment or machinery that requires lubrication, inclulding ice cream machines, o-rings, valves, seals, slicers, and any equipment that contacts food. Haynes Lubri-Film is a heavy duty sanitary lubricant with high load bearing, low friction properties. This lubricant is authorized by the NSF (rated H1) for use in food processing plants for food contact areas. All ingredients are FDA approved. Haynes Lubri-Film provides a protective coating to all metal parts. A thin film will retain effectiveness on bearings, slides, and other lubricated surfaces despite moisture. By staying on the work area, corrosion of metal is minimized. This sanitary lubricant is highly resistant to separation or bleed. It will not dry or gum on your equipment.
