It was easy to assemble. I did find the directions easy to follow though. After it was assembled I plugged it in to give it a test and worked just fine. It appears to be a solid machine with capacity for drilling smaller holes in 3/16 mild steel and great for sanding and forstner bits to mention but a few. I added the drill bench table and which expands the capacity of the features of the press. The only thing I had to do was tighten up the slack in the two belts...no big deal. Despite being a Chinese made product, it appears to be to be a quality machine. I can recommend this to you.
