This Auction is for 12 + hatching eggs. At least 12 will produce Olive egger or what I like to call the "Super Olive Egger Eggs". The chicks that hatch will lay a rich olive green egg. The 2nd generation eggs will hatch chicks that will eventually lay a super dark brownish green egg. If they are available, I will include a couple extras which may be pure bred Black Copper Maran eggs or a Welsummer/BCM cross eggs. I have 26 hens --12 Americauna, 5- 1st generation olive eggers, 5 -2nd generation "super olive eggers" and 4 Purebred Black Copper Maran hens. They are all being bred by three beautiful purebred black copper maran roosters. I will always include extras above the 12 eggs. During the breeding season, these chickens are all penned together so that the breedings are pure olive and BCMs. However, most of the year, these chickens are free range, with over 2 acres of weeds, insects, seeds, horse manure, grain, and alfalfa hay to forage through. They are always kept supplied with Nutrena Layer formula and oyster shell in addition to all their free-ranging treats. The proper nutrition of the birds truly does make a difference in the hatchability and livability of the baby chicks. All my birds are robust and healthy and are living a life that most chickens would envy....if they were able to. I cannot guarantee the hatchability of your eggs, but will pack and ship with the utmost care. bubble wrap around each egg, and will only ship the fresh 1-2 day old eggs.
