12 used Hewlett Packard HP 48GX 128 RAM Calculators. Includes 7 soft cases and 8 Hard leather cases, books and a printer for the calculators. All of these calculators came from the estate sale of a gentleman who passed away recently and previously was an Engineer/Surveyor. When I asked his son (who was conducting the sale) why his father had so many, he replied that his father was very meticulous about his work and had a calculator for each job and one for each type of work being done. --- Includes 8 hard cowhide leather cases and 7 soft faux leather cases. 2 mint sealed book packs with each pack have a HP 48G Series start guide and the large User's guide. Plus an opened and well used set of these books, soiled and with writing on them but still useable. -------- Condition of calculators: 9 of the calculators are in good condition and power on. 2 of these powered on and the message "Try to restore memory" message came on and I did not proceed any further. On the others the keys worked. (I'm not quite sure how to use these complicated items, so that is the extent of my testing and all I guarantee). 3 did not power on and of these 3, 2 had a missing end clip part in the battery compartments, which may or may not be the problem with them. -- 8 of the calculators have 128KB Ram cards inserted in the card compartment and the others had no card inserted. There is one loose card included, a SMI Standard COGO Enhanced Surveying Software card, SC 107295 v5.1. Appears in good condition, but not tested. ------- Most of the calculators and cases have writing on them with mostly likely a permanent marker, each was numbered and some have a name or other writing on them. You might be able to remove this, I not quite sure. Some of the calculators and cases have notes taped to them referring to jobs etc. The calculators appear in good condition with a few having minor scuffing. The hard leather cases are well used and scuffed up. A hole was cut in the bottom of each to more easily remove the calculators which fit snugly in the cases and a finger could be inserted in the hole to push the calculator out without pulling too hard on it. The printer, an HP 82240B with the charger was not tested because I did not have the cord which connects to the calculator. Appears in good condition.
