15 WATT* ARGON ION BLUE GREEN LASER & EXCITER This auction is for a Laser Ionics / Control 555A Class IV Laser and Exciter It is a CONTINUOUS WAVE OUTPUT (No pulsing here) highly collimated, TEMoo mode LASER optimized for visible wavelengths, specifically blue-green region. It includes broad-band optics, easy-tuning and complete electronic control. The tube has vacuum integrity and ionization. INCLUDED: Buck-Boost 480 VAC transformer included (but incurs additional shipping for 225 lbs) Broadband optics 8 x 3 x 3 wooden padded shipping case Water - Cooled: 2 gallon/minute flow. Perfectly happy with adequate water recycler / heat exchanger (not included) or just running water Wavelength 4343-5145 Beam divergence - 0.6 Millaradion Emergent Beam System 2 mm Complies with 21CFR 1040.10 + 1040.1.1 It's in great cosmetic shape, and the case is included. CLEAN, and efficient / simple exciter / regulator. Head is 73" x 7" x 7", 120 lbs. Exciter is 22" x 18" x 10", 60 lbs. There is a Littrow / Beamsplitter installed in front of output port, with Brewster removed for clarity. Clean, intact Windows. OF ALL ION LASERS, this is the easiest to tune I've come across. Other brands use hex wrenches and all sorts of things. Here we have two large verniered knobs that get the job done quickly. The exciter has had a component or two removed as shown below. Sellers preference is to sell unit to a qualified buyer with existing, confirmable Federal Variance ID. Part absent allows unit to be sold to other parties such as hobbyists, experimenters. Because part has been removed, we are not making this unit available as a working unit. Some work is required of buyer to connect the unit to all of its requirements and to replace any needed parts on this AS-IS unit. ANY NEEDED OR WANTED REPAIRS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.
