This is an L-150A/A12CY cold light that I originally purchased new from microscopenet.com. It is in good working condition. It takes standard 21V, 150W EKE halogen bulbs. It is in good working condition and has seen relatively little use. I have included a brand new Osram EKE bulb. I ran it for an hour at about 80% intensity to test the unit and make sure it didn't overheat. Everything is good! There is just the one bulb so I recommend you buy a few more. They are easy to find here on eBay, I recommend the Osram bulbs but I'm sure other brands are good too. Run the unit at about 80% intensity (or less) to prolong the bulb life. I am selling this light because I have another unit with a different style of light guide that I prefer for photographic use, and have no need for two illuminators. This unit could make a good accompaniment to a stereo microscope and you can purchase different styles of light guides at microscopenet.com.
