18" Z Axis, Linear Stage, Linear Rail For Cnc Router, With Ballscrew

Up for auction is a complete Z Axis linear stage.  Came from my uncles shop, and I don't know what it was used for previous, only that it is VERY nice.  It's got a good weight to it, and is nice and rigid, and there seems to be ZERO play in the bearings/motion.  The ball screw is exceptionally smooth, and is made in Germany.  Below are the general dimensions/specifications: Overall Length (approx.) = 18" Linear Rails (diam) = 0.787" (20mm) Ball Screw (diam) = 0.75" Ball Screw (motor shaft end) = .393" (10mm) Ball Nut = STAR w.germany model#: 1512-1-1004 Main Bearing plate/housing has four  shaft bearings, and there are an additional two open  bottom shaft bearing blocks.  Looks like those separate bearing blocks are not original and could be removed. Anyhow - seems like an exceptional linear motion setup and would probably make for a terrific  CNC router or such machine.  Will definitely require some creative modification to adapt this to your project - however would probably be well worth it.    Thanks for looking and good luck.
