Offered on behalf of a client is a 180 Ton Progressive Hydraulic Die Press for stamping, forming and punching sheet metal coil stock. The press is presently set up to punch and form a piece from 12 gauge 6” coil stock. The press is connected to power and can be demo-ed. History; this line has sat idle for several years. It was installed to produce a specific line of parts but the dies for this line of parts were poorly engineered and not well staggered so the press suffered from extreme reverse tonnage. Several solutions were proposed but the price tags exceeded the return. Meantime an alternate fabrication process was used. Hence, only 2 to 3 coils were ever run (as confirmed by the wear on the uncoiler and straightener). My client would like to free up the space and is open to negotiations.
