For Auction/Buy it Now: Vintage Simpson 260 Series 2 Multimeter.It was made between the 1940's and 1950's and there was still no "Series" designation.The probe jacks accept the pin type leads, Part Number 0-008375.The current Catalog Number 02055 leads will work with this model Controls include: Ohms zero adjustment, AC - DC - Output, a 12 position Function / Range selector switch, and six recessed probe jacks. The ohms adjust is now located on the right side of the case and will remain there for the following models.This is the first model to use the engraved lettering and the now familiar black molded case.This meter has had the bakelite cleaned and polished to a mirror finish.
