1950 - 1960's Garvey Price Marker - Model S-45 This is a Model S-45 Garvey King Size Price Marker with belt holster.  Made in the U.S.A. by Garvey Corp., St. Louis, Missouri. LEATHER HOLSTER IS INCLUDED...NO ORIGINAL BOX Both pieces have signs of average wear & tear and appear to be in fair/good cosmetic condition. Fine working condition for their age and use. Movement is smooth. Spring chamber has nice bounce and compression. The pins and guides on the sides, that flip the row of stamps 180 degrees and in position for marking whatever flat surface with ink works excellently. All of the wheels that adjust the numbers and symbols roll and operate like they should. - (JUST DONT SPIN OR ROLL THE WHEELS IF THE MECHANISM IS NOT COMPRESSED...OTHER WISE THE STAMPS ARE AGAINST INK PAD AND CANT ROTATE.) -  Needs ink  It also has cent, dollar, 1/2, slash and period symbols. The stamper works and the number move. It measures 7 3/8" tall.  Please see the photo’s to get a better visual with the description. I see a lot of S-185 Models and a lot of S-169A Models on the internet but the search results were slim for this Model, which is the S-45. ALL PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL ITEM.
