For sale here is a Franklin Logging Skidder from 1971.  Dad bought this skidder when he first went into business in 71' and has maintained it ever since.  He also modified the blade to make it slightly wider and strengthened the bottom plate with 1/4 inch steel for a better bite.  When the old engine gave out, I helped him put in a new Detroit engine.  This beast is strong and the tires are still good, too.  Have recently replaced the starter, battery and winch cable.  Only thing that needs attention is the water pump needs a rebuild.  It leaks a bit but not much at this stage.  Haven't had time to fix it but drug out a couple of trees last week for firewood and started it up a few days ago just to move it.  I also have a Case W-14 4 wheel drive loader and complete Meadows sawmill listed in separate auctions but if anyone wants to make a deal on everything for one price, please contact me.  Local pickup only.   $500.00 non-refundable deposit at end of auction.  Balance due at pickup.
