The products can be in full and half, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 step mode operation of bipolar stepper motor, the output driving performance of up to 35 V and 1 A. The A4988 includes a fixed off time current regulator, the regulator can work in slow or mixed decay mode. The translator is the key to the easy implementation of the A4988. As long as the input of a pulse on the step input, microstep can drive motor. There are no phase sequence tables, high frequency control interface for programming or complex. The application of A4988 interface is very suitable for complex microprocessors is not available or overload. In stepping operation, A4988 chopper control can automatically select the current decay mode (slow or mixed).
