We also offer smaller diameter water meters for cases that call for them. • This is a well made, industrial grade, type 304 stainless steel water meter. You can use it as a traditional water meter where water consumption is read off of the face of the meter. • Why Stainless Steel? Many States are phasing out the use of leaded brass in potable water systems. Stainless steel is a superior alternative to either brass or plastic, with many advantages at no increase in cost. Stainless will not react when paired with dissimilar metals, so no dielectric unions are necessary. We are one of the only suppliers of stainless steel water meters in the USA. • This water meter can be read off of the face like a typical water meter, and also has the option of being able to connect the included pulse output wires to a pulse counting device for remote reading. • This meter produces 1 dry-contact pulse for every 1/10th of a cubic foot (this is the same as 1 pulse per 0.748 gallons, or 1 pulse per 0.283 liters). These pulses can be then picked up and counted by our pulse counting devices for remote reading on site or over the internet. • This pulse output water meter can be connected to our Omnimeter Pulse v.4. This is our most advanced pulse counting electric kWh meter. This pulse counting meter can count the pulse outputs from up to 3 Pulse Output Devices. (available on our website) • The pulse counting Omnimeter Pulse v.4 can then be connected to a computer either locally or over the internet. Our EKM Push system provides a cloud based solution for monitoring your water meters via the Omnimeter Pulse v.4. With this system, you will be able to economically know exactly how much water is being used at any number of sites around the world.
