We want you to be a happy long-term customer. 2" MOPECO Div General Cable WP-125 Gas Motor V-Belt Driven Water Pump Product Details: 2" MOPECO Div General Cable WP-125 Gas Motor V-Belt Driven Water Pump Spec No. 03648-7387 S/N 467038 Seal No. 25353z 2" inlet and outlet with quick connect fittings and a quick connect plug attached as shown Research indicates MOPECO is in the manhole equipment business and my best guess is that this is for pumping water and keeping it out of an occupied manhole. It appears to attach to something, probably a specialized MOPECO power unit which would then turn the pulley and run the pump. I am not set up to run this pump, so it is untested but I'll guarantee it as noted below. I am able to turn the pully perfectly fine. I shined a light in the fittings and I see some surface oxidation to parts in there. Experience tells me this won't matter unless you are pumping fresh drinking water, in which case you'd want a specialized pump anyway. That being said, I removed the four bolts and opened up the pump to inspect the impeller, and aside from surface oxidation, it looks fine to me (see the pictures). I expect it to work fine for you. I bolted it back down with the same gasket in place, but you may need to apply some gasket material if it leaks along the seams. Aside from a few nics and scratches and scuffs and chipped paint, it seems to be in good physical condition. The pump housing is aluminum and the interior parts are steel. To reduce shipping costs, I may detach parts to reduce shipping size. This will also reduce the possiblity of damage.
