The Z-SCC can be software-configured to satisfy a wide variety of serial communications applications. This versatile device supports virtually any serial data transfer application, such as cassette, diskette, and tape drives. The Z8030 devices are from old stock (OEM industrial, mainly from the USA), but they are new and unused (NOS devices). They have been taken out of the original packaging, as shown in the photo. The manufacturer is STM, and the datasheet is available on the Internet. In summary, these two vintage ICs are a rare find in new old stock condition, and are perfect for anyone seeking to add to their collection or to complete an electronic project. They are versatile and support virtually any serial data transfer application, and are reliable due to the sophisticated on-chip functions that reduce the need for external logic. This auction is for two vintage, collectible ZILOG Z8030PS and Z8030PC 40-pin ICs in new old stock (NOS) condition. These parts are very rare and are not pulled, used, refurbished, soldered, faked, or remarked. They are from an Engineering Development Co stock and have never been installed. The Z8030 Z-SCC Serial Communications Controller is a dual-channel, multi-protocol data communications peripheral designed for use with the Z-BUS. The Z-SCC functions as a serial-to-parallel, parallel-to-serial converter/controller. We have over 10 in stock, and terms and conditions apply. We accept PayPal only for payment, and all items must be paid for within 5 days. If an item is not paid for within 5 days, we will open an unpaid item case through eBay to cancel the transaction. We ship via USPS, FEDEX, or UPS GROUND within the Continental United States, with delivery signature required. We DO-NOT sell internationally at this time.
