(2) Servo hydraulic Linear Actuators 5.5kip 12" stroke Schenk Structural Testing This listing is for two servo hydraulic linear actuators mounted vertically for use is automotive structural testing. These two actuators were from a set of four used in a 4-poster test rig for structural testing of vehicles. Actuators are rated at 5.5 kips with a 12" stroke but they are constructed much heavier duty that similarly rated actuators. They feature 2" thick mounting plates, strengthening gussets, 5" piston diameters, hydrostatic bearings and large servo valves. Servo valve is mounted to side of actuator and is controlled with a pilot operated control valve. There is also a LVDT installed with connection diagram printed directly on the unit. The actuators could be duplicated to make a 4-poster test system, be used as a 2-poster for motorcycles or recreational vehicles or they could be re-purposed wherever an actuator of this size and shape would be needed. The units are in good overall condition with the only noticeable defect being one of the servo valve electrical connection covers is cracked. Schenck-Pegasus, model 230-5.5-12.
