This Chef Backpack was returned to the factory under the warranty because the bottom plastic separated from the pack itself in the 4 corners. I'd like to tell you it was because the pack was abused by its owner, but the pack is actually in pretty good shape. I have repaired the corners with several applications of E6000. E6000 is a black, industrial, PERMANENT, flexible, waterproof adhesive. Please see the photos. Chemical resistant. Water & Salt waterproof. Great for bonding substances subject to high wear. Used in Marine Applications because of its strength and salt waterproof characteristics. Temperature Range: -40 F to 140 F Tensile strength: 3,500 lb/in2 I actually believe the corners are far better off with the repair than without. This adhesive is remarkably strong. I also applied E6000 inside, between the bottom plastic and the pack wherever there was an opening. I don't think you'll ever have to worry about the repair failing! The corners may not look great, but they are repaired for ever! The 14-Pocket (CPKCM03) is BRAND NEW...NEVER BEEN USED.
