2006 MedXChange DRS2 Surgical Digital Recording Station FREE US SHIPPING (Lower 48 States) ~Scroll down for additonal pictures~ I believe this surgical digital recording station is a 2006 model according to the onscreen pdf User Manual. It is all here and in working condition. I am able to power it up and easily navigate the software. Uses a Windows 2000 Pro operating system and comes with a 15" LCD touch screen, footswitch, DVD R/RW and rolling stand. It is a 2.80GHz Intel Pentium SP4 w/ 260,840 KB Ram with a 200GB hard drive. The MedXChange software is loaded and a password is not necessary to gain access to files. Suprisingly easy to operate and I was able to test many of the functions except actual recording because I didnt have a recording camera. I am able to view saved surgical videos and the resolution is very good. There are 4 Video inputs and the entire sytem is web capable. From the User Manual- In the most basic terms the M X Stream DRS and DRSW Systems are digital recording devices which record from multiple video sources, take digital stills without interrupting the video and can burn this stored information to a disk for documentation and presentation. The systems run on the latest technology in both hardware and software. The hardware is state of the art, utilizing Intel processors, high capacity hard drives, and the fastest combo DVD-R/CDR drives available. The software is built on MPEG-4 technology, utilizing the best compression available. Videos are stored as Windows Media Video Files (.wmv) Because of rapid advancements in technology, it was important that the systems be easy to update. These are dynamic systems that can grow and be adapted as technologies change. The systems' software is easily upgradeable via the internet or CD, providing you with critical updates that will keep your system "State of the Art". As CD/DVD burning technology changes and improves, upgrades to the system hardware can easily be completed by either Med X Change or qualified IT person designated by your facility. I am easily able to navigate the Windows and MedXChange software using the touch screen. I am able to view past surgical video files and the resolution is very good. I can get a response from the footswitch. I am unable to test the actual recording function because I dont have a recording camera to test with but there is no indication it wont work. The touch monitor is working perfect and the stand is very nice. The articulating arm is working to set the monitor in any position. All wheels are working properly.
