This Miles electric car is great for getting around in your neighborhood and across town as well, or can be used as a cargo van. It is spacious for four people, with lots of headroom, plus it has good trunk space. The back seats fold down for cargo space to haul more if you need it. Inexpensive transportation for short trips. Plugs in to any standard 110v outlet and draws about 12-13 amps; charges completely in a few hours. Street legal to 35 mph, fast enough for city life. All electric: no engine, no transmission, no cylinders. Electric cars are not only much better for the environment, as we all know, but also safer. With a limited top speed, any collision is much less serious. This makes electric a great choice for teenagers as well. The only maintenance this car ever needs is charging the batteries and air in the tires! No other work is usually needed: no more oil changes saves you more time and money. Although the Miles Company that made this car is out of business, most of the parts are fairly generic, and we also keep a stock of specific parts as well. Batteries are in good/fair condition. It currently has lead acid batteries, which require no maintenance, but may be replaced with lighter lithium batteries to increase the car's range. Most of this car was made in the USA. It has a steel body. The trunk has barn door opening in the rear. Great comfort options, as well as battery warmers for cold winters.
