Of course there are other 4 oz poppers that are less expensive, but they are not GOLD MEDAL poppers. This popper will last you a lifetime! It doesn't get "retired" until it has rusted to death...that would be from the salt where it is not cleaned properly after use. These are the safest, top-of-the-line poppers manufactured.
