U-Tube Concentrators are disposable ultrafiltration devices for concentration, desalting, and purification of biological molecules. The devices feature a patented longitudinal membrane that has optimal cross flow, fast processing times, and reduced filter clogging. In a single spin of 10 to 30 min, samples can be concentrated 30 to 100–fold with recoveries greater than 95%. In addition, U-Tube Concentrators feature an impermeable concentrate pocket below the membrane surface, which eliminates the risk of concentrating a sample to dryness. Each U-Tube Concentrator is a complete ready-to-use unit and includes concentrator body, filtrate receiver tube, and cap. Rotor specifications: Swinging bucket or fixed angle rotor (25° minimum) to fit 15 ml (17 mm) conical bottom tubes.
