These are glossy white polyester stickers, approximately 2 inch x 0.50 inch (50 mm x 13 mm) in size. These are waterproof, extremely resistant to flaking, smearing and scratching, and to extreme chemicals and temperature. It has high shear permanent acrylic adhesive. These stickers are used in industrial, automotive, medical, and chemical identification applications. Apply to dry and clean smooth surface, preferably on high surface energy materials. Please use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to clean the surface. Please carefully check spelling of all the information that you will provide. The following are the information and requirements of the sticker: Your Product Name or any title - maximum of 22 characters P/N: (Part Number) or S/N: (Serial Number) or ID: (Identification) are human-readable only; not included in the actual bar code data; not readable by barcode scanner. Maximum of 4 (four) alphanumeric or special characters. Alphabetic characters in upper case only. Please see pictures. Your unique numbering sequence conditions: Maximum of 14 alphanumeric characters. If less, the number of characters in the string has to be even (not odd). Example: ABC123 (six total characters - even in number) Maximum combination of 7 alphabetic characters and 7 numeric characters, or all 14 are numeric characters only. Examples: ABCDEFG1234567 or 12345678901234 or ABC12345678901 All alphabetic characters in upper case only. Company name (the initials or abbreviation of it) can be used for the alphabetic characters that have a fixed value. This will make the numbering unique to your company. The numbering sequence can be very unique by adding a random effect to it. This can be done by increasing how much the next number would vary. Instead of having an increment of 1, your numbering sequence can be variable by as much as 999. See examples: The numbering sequence is variable by 5: 1000001, the next number is 1000006, then 1000011, and so on. For variable alphabetic characters and also variable by 5: UVWXYZZ, the next number is UVWXZAE, then UVWXZAJ, and so on. The higher the variable value the more it would have a random effect to it and unique only to your company. Grouping and Placement of Alphabetic Characters: If value of alphabetic characters are variable: All alphabetic characters have to be together in a group and all placed either at the start, end or middle of the string (not separately placed anywhere in the string). See examples below: . All alphabetic characters at the start of the string: ABCDEFG9999999 (if this string is variable by 1 the next logical number is ABCDEFH0000000, then ABCDEFH0000001, and so on): or at the end: 9999999ABCDEFG. (the ABCDEFG is variable and is at the end of a variable string, so the logical next number in the sequence if variable by 1 is ABCDEFH, then ABCDEFI, and so on): or in the middle: 999ABCDEFG9999. This next example will not work for the available sticker width because alphabetic characters are separated: 99ABC99ABCD999. If value of alphabetic characters are all fixed or combination of variable and fixed, the following are the allowed arrangements of characters: All fixed: ABCDEFG9999999 or 9999999ABCDEFG. All grouped together and placed at the start or end only. The ABCDEFG is fixed and value will never change. The 9999999 is variable and value will change. Combination of variable and fixed: XXXXABC9999999, or ABC9999999XXXX, or XXXX9999999ABC, or 9999999ABCXXXX. The XXXX is fixed and will never change value and can only be placed in a group (together) at either the start or end of the whole string. This is fixed and you can have just one X or as many as six Xs. The ABC is variable and will change in value, but can only be placed in a group (together) at the start or end of the variable portion of the string. Combination of variable and fixed, with variable placed in between the numeric characters: The maximum number of alphanumeric characters allowed is 12; maximum of 6 alphabets and 6 numbers. Examples: XXX99ABC9999, or 99ABC9999XXX, or XX9999ABCD99, or 9999ABCD99XXX. Again, the XXX is fixed and will never change value and can only be placed in a group (together) at either the start or end of the whole string. This is fixed and you can have just one X or as many as five Xs. The ABC is variable and will change in value, but can only be placed in a group (together) between any of the variable numeric characters. If your numbering is fixed (does not change value) the first five conditions above applies. If you have an existing numbering system, randomly generated or not, that you want encoded into barcodes, you could use those numbers instead. However, those numbers have to be in an Excel spreadsheet and uploaded to Google Drive for download.
