Wire of 0.045" Dia comes in a spool of 33 lb and is used for joints among non-alloyed or low alloyed steels and stainless steels where corrosion resistance is of secondary priority. It is utilized for MIG/MAG, TIG and plasma-arc welding. Manufacturer P/N 309LSI04533 This appears to be a new and unused spool with very minor shelf wear to the spool. However, it weighs 29.90 pounds on my scale, including the spool, so actual weight is a little less than that (I'm guessing 29 pounds if the spool weighs between 1/2 pound and 1 pound).
