(3) X-Y Linear Optical Positioning Table w Readout 2 Axis Motion 10" Square We offer for bid a lot of (3) beautifully made X-Y Optical, or other System, Positioning Tables. The surface of each is 10" on a side, 2" by 2" hole pattern tapped for 10-32 Helicoil inserts. We do not know the tables manufacturer, but, we do know that much care was taken in its concoction. This lot contains tables as follows; (1) with drive screws and nuts: As for the table in pictures 2 through 5, the motion is actuated by two 1/2" diameter ground lead screws. The roller guide rails are larger than the usual 1/2" square. As it does not have the thread inserts, it was never put into service, though as they show a lot of shelf wear we are listing them as used. One of the knobs is missing. Scales are mounted in the drive screw cover plates to give position data and the one knob is graduated. If the 10 x 10 plate is removed, one sees that the table can be used in an application that requires transmitted light. (2) without drive screws and nuts: The other two positioners (pictures 6 & 7) are lacking drive screws and nuts. They are readily available and can be of almost any practical pitch. Opposite the "handle" end of the screws is the mounting pad for a stepper motor. Please note - these are heavy items - very heavy. Protective motion limiting cover plates have been installed for shipment.
