The tough sub-micron substrate and TiAlN PVD coating make them suitable for low-to-medium cutting speeds and machining of heat resistant alloys, austenitic stainless steel, and hard steel. The carbide inserts are graded IC907 and can be used with various ISO ranges, including P/M/K (P10-P30)(M05-M20)(K15-K30) and H/S/N (H05-H15)(S05-S20). The cutting speed for DCMT 11T308-SM IC907 varies depending on the material, material description, and material condition.
