The 3488A control unit by HP Agilent Keysight has been succeeded by the 3499 Switch Family and offers additional features with 20 switch modules while being software and firmware compatible with its predecessor. The Keysight 3488A is capable of housing five switch and control modules including a 10-channel relay multiplexer (opt 010), a 10-channel general purpose relay (opt 011), a dual 4-channel VHF switch (opt 012), a 4 x 4 matrix switch (opt 013), a 16-bit digital input/output (opt 014), a breadboard (opt 015), a 3-channel 18 GHz switch (opt 016), a 7-channel form-C relay (opt 017), a 2-channel microwave switch (opt 018), a 1.3 GHz 50 and 75-ohm multiplexer (opt 019, opt 020), and DC to 26.5 GHz signal switching. With up to 50 channels, matrix, multiplexer, and general purpose relays, 40 configuration storage registers, digital I/O control and actuation, and 11 switch and control modules, it is definitely a reliable solution for all your testing requirements. This switch/control unit by Keysight enables multi-channel measurements with programmable switching through GPIB. It has a reliable isolation and integrity for high-performance tests and is perfect for lab experiments or bench testing as it is a cost-effective interconnection solution.
