About this item: 3M 450XL clear transfer tape comes in a 1 in width, uses an acrylic adhesive and is packaged 9 per case. Can be used in the following temperature range: -40 F to +180 F. When purchasing this product, consider the thickness. The variances in thickness often make an important difference in proper performance. This transfer tape has a 1 mil thickness. Products in this category feature a liner on the back which you peel away from to expose the adhesive material before applying to the substrate. The liner material for this product is composed of kraft paper. • 3MTM Extended Liner Tapes 450EK, 450XL, 465XL and 920XL are ideal for pharmaceutical outsert attachment. 3M tape 450XL has a heavier liner than 3M tape 920XL to help reduce liner breakage during application. 3M tape 450EK has the most tear resistant liner of these products. This release liner has stretch built into the paper making it tough and tear resistant. 3M tape 465XL is .002 in. thick for surface which requires more adhesive mass
