The Littmann Traditional Stethoscope provides outstanding acoustic performance combined with exceptional versatility. The small side of the chestpiece is a traditional open bell for listening to low frequency sounds. The large side of the chestpiece is equipped with a tunable diaphragm that enables you to listen to both low and high frequencies without turning over the chestpiece. And, a traditional bell is built into both sides complete with a nonchill rubber sleeve. To listen to low and high frequency sounds without removing or repositioning the chestpiece, simply alternate between light and firm pressure on the tunable diaphragm of the chestpiece.
