The 3M(TM) Cool Flow(TM) Valve helps make breathing easier and can reduces heat and moisture build-up for cool, dry comfort. This is for the mask only & this is how it comes from the factory. Filters, cartridges, filter holders & other accessories sold separately. There are a wide variety of filters and/or cartridge combinations that could be used on the 7501. The list of possible filters/cartridges are: 3M(TM) Cartridges 6000 Series; 3M(TM) Filters 2000, 2200, 7000 or 5000 Series; or 3M(TM) Dual Airline Systems against a variety of gases, vapors and particulate hazards according to NIOSH approvals.
