Have an appliance that has a cord that doesn't quite reach far enough? Don't want to pay an electrician hundreds of dollars to install another receptacle? And you have found that 4 prong extension cords aren't that easy to find? Here is my 4 foot NEMA 14-30 extension cord. It allows you to plug in a clothes dryer, smaller electric range, welding machine or plasma cutter into a 4 prong receptacle that is a little bit further away from the receptacle than you would like it to be. The cord is about 4 feet long, the power lines are both 10ga, so is the neutral and ground, that makes it a "4/10ga" cord. Pictures are of the actual item for sale. The 4 foot long NEMA 14-30 sealed plug set is new, so new that the hardware kit to install it on a clothes dryer is still taped to the cord. The NEMA 14-30 surface mount receptacle is also new. The metal backing to the plug is ground. It is only intended for indoor use in dry locations. If you want to plug your electric range or welding machine into a clothes dryer outlet, because that's all you have and you flip your 30 amp clothes dryer breaker absolutely under no circumstances should you remove the 30 amp clothes dryer breaker and install a higher amp breaker. The circuit breaker is there to protect the wiring inside the walls. If your appliance is flipping the breaker, that's because its doing its job and you need to turn the machine down or go find a real 50 amp receptacle to plug into. If you go to lowes the 4 prong dryer cord is about $27, the 4 prong receptacle is about $15. Then you add 8% sales tax to it all for a grand total of around $45. No reserve. One bid wins.
