We have for sale a 1980 HTC/Pacific 400MS Hydraulic Molding Press. The press has a bed measuring 120” x 54”. Pacific Press purchased HTC in the 90’s and so parts and support are available through Pacific. The press has been disassembled and moved to our rigger’s warehouse in Batavia, IL and is ready to load. The press and steam platens weigh approximately 113,000 lbs. The press has a stroke of 16” and an open daylight of 28”. The close height is 12”. We do have a riser block assemble that can reduce the close height. The press has two steam platens installed that cover the entire 120” x 54” bed area. There are steam valves that modulate and temperature control the platens. The ram has a Rapid Advance (IPM) of 114”, a press (IPM) of 30” and a return (IPM) of 204”. The press is powered by two 30HP hydraulic motors. The hydraulic pumps and main cylinder were rebuilt in the 90’s. The press has been in storage for approximately 4 years and was used little in the preceding 10 years. The press is controlled by a GE 90-30 plc which was installed in 1992. Winning bidder shall be required to place a deposit of $1,000 within 24 hours of winning the bid. Good luck bidding!
