- Castered Stand Specifications: Our castered stand is equipped with two locking swivel and two rigid casters that allow you to easily roll your Granite Surface Plate to different locations. The plate can also be leveled using the bolts on the top of the stand. Please note that a loading dock is required for delivery, and extra charges may apply for residential delivery. Order your 48x48 Surface Plate Castered Stand today and experience the convenience of a sturdy and reliable support system for your Granite Surface Plate. - Steel Construction Our 48x48 Surface Plate Castered Stand is an ideal support system for Granite Surface Plates. Made from steel, these stands are specifically designed to minimize sag and warp and uphold the accuracy of the plate. The Federal Specification GGG-P-463c recommends three fixed points to support the surface plate, and our stands are marked to coincide with these points. Each stand is customized to meet a 36” working height from the floor, and can support a load of up to 50 pounds per square foot in addition to the weight of the surface plate. - Built to hold a 48" x 48" Granite Surface Plate
