Backlash measurement. This is a complete 4th axis assembly for Proxxon MF70 micro milling machine. The assembly is an ideal for CNC jewelry, small gear making and other 4 axis Proxxon MF70 projects. This unit is specially designed for MF70. But also it can be used for any CNC mini milling machine adding 4th axis operations. It consists of A. Like - new Vexta, 2-phase, Nema 23 stepping motor. Model C014S-9212K with 5VDC, 1.2A, 1.8 degree per step. Resistance 4.1 Ohm per phase . Torque: 98 Oz Inch. The motor comes with a 24 " long 4 wire cable . This complete assembly can be easily installed into dove rail of MF70 by fastening three screws with square nuts(included) through 3 dove rail slots of MF70. No additional work is needed except making alignment with x axis. The distance from center of closed jaws to the bottom of base plate is 40mm. User can remove the base plate and use 3 short screws ( included ) to reduce ( about 6 mm) the distance between center of chuck to base plate. Then user has more travel distance for z+ movement ( but would limit jaw opening- smaller) .Assembled and tested unit includes : Motor , gear box , shaft, bracket sub assembly ( installed), motor cable plus a bag including long screws( x3 )for dove rail, short screws( x3 ) for dove rail and square nuts( x3) for dove rail.
