This Listing is for… One Lot of five (5) Coors no. 60148 Gooch crucibles (matches Aldrich Z247073) 25 mL, 36mm top OD, fits filter diameter 20-21mm. !!! MADE IN THE USA !!! They are storage stock / back-stock from my now defunct herbalism practice (assay of raw herbal materials) and were originally obtained in the late 1990’s (Made in the USA) as surplus, some are in used condition, some were never used. None of these were ever used by myself. Gooch Crucibles are used in a number of analysis tests involving ashing, fusion, or thermal decomposition of samples followed by filtration of the residue with various solvents to extract or separate residual components. All were cleaned by the standard lab-ware procedure: detergent > caustic bath > acid bath after the original purchase … and I have cleaned them again by the same method just prior to the inventory and photographing for this listing. Some may have minor residual discolouration on the bottom and or marker writing on them that was not removed by cleaning, most look almost new and many are pristine (See photos) … each lot consist of 5 selected at random from the stock on hand… all are fully suitable & functional for their intended purpose.
