The precision CNC-turned wheel is made of top-grade certified 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum and is domed for precise belt tracking. This product is 100% made in the USA and ships USPS Priority shipping with free tracking. The 5" drive wheel moves 15.7" of belt per RPM compared to 12.5" for a 4" drive wheel, allowing for super fast metal removal. The bore sizes of 7/8", 3/4", and 5/8" are available and several have already been made. Also available on the seller's other auctions are 3" drive wheels, 2" contact wheels, 4" drive wheels, and 3" tracking wheels. This auction offers a brand new 5" drive wheel for your belt grinder, perfect for knife making. If the desired size is not listed, the seller can list one as soon as possible after being contacted. Keep checking back for upcoming platen assemblies and tracking arm assemblies. The 5" wheel is pictured beside a 4" wheel and a 2" platen wheel for scale. The dome on the wheel is a true radius, cut on a high-end CNC lathe. These are more expensive to make than the 4" wheel but provide significantly more metal. The wheel is bored to fit a 7/8" (.875") drive shaft and can be used on a smooth shaft with a flat ground on it or one with a 3/16" keyway. One set screw is included for locking the key in the wheel and on the shaft (Key and shaft not included).
