6 GHz  PLL brick oscillator by Fairchild Microwave, model MS-540XO--the higher power version.  Contains an adjustable high-Q cavity oscillator that is phase locked to a harmonic of the internal reference crystal oscillator.  For the pics, I have inserted a 101.33333 MHz XTAL,  the X12 harmonic is 1216 MHz to which the cavity oscillator is phase locked ( X12 the crystal reference), and the multiplier block is X5 giving  6080 MHz output at the TNC female connector.  The output power is 20.1 dBm.   Requires a well-regulated  -20.0 VDC supply at about 0.5A.  The spectrum analyzer (at 1 MHz/div), the SC-cut crystal, cables, and attenuators are not included in auction.   This "brick" is in clean condition, and it phase locks fine.   I have replaced the power supply electrolytic cap--it was vintage 1970!    "XTAL TUNE" adjusts the reference crystal frequency (which can be monitored at the SMA jack).  "D.C. ADJ" adjusts the DC balance of the sampling phase detector   At the top right of the brick is a small pot: this adjusts the DC bias to the multiplier block diode for maximum stable output.  The multiplier block bandpass filter (five inline screws on top of brick) can be adjusted to pass 5760 MHz--if you need a 5.76 GHz source... Or two doublers gives you 24 GHz...Lastly, you should put a 6 GHz coax isolator on the output for best stability.  Ships to USA for $7.00 via USPS Priority mail in antistatic bag, well packed, and boxed.   No shipping out of USA.
