You are bidding on 6 Gold or Cream Brabanter hatching eggs. My flock consists of both European and US bloodlines. If you prefer one color over another, contact me after you have won the auction and I will try to ship that color. These pictures were taken right after a heavy rian, so their crests and beards are droopy. When their crests are dry, they are carried upright and they are lighter in color, except for the birds with black crests and beards, which is a characteristic common to the European bloodlines. Their body feathers are also somewhat dirty, from stepping on each other, while waiting for me to let them out. The birds in the pictures are not the birds that are laying the eggs that you are bidding on. They are the birds that the eggs you are bidding on will look like. They hatched from eggs that were laid by the same birds that are laying the eggs that you are bidding on. The birds in the pictures are only 5 months old. Through selective breeding, I have created an extremely productive line of Brabanters! I have been selectively breeding for egg size, frequency of lay and for egg color. My birds currently lay extra large to jumbo eggs, 5-6 days a week. The eggs are almost pure white. Most of my hens will continue to lay eggs even while moulting. They start laying eggs at 5 months old. They are almost certainly the most productive Brabanters in the world! I only used Brabanters in my breeding program (no other breed was used). They lay more eggs and larger eggs than even my Brown Leghorns! Only my White Leghorns lay more eggs than my Brabanters...but the Brabanters lay considerably larger eggs than the White Leghorns! To ensure that you receive the freshest eggs possible, I ship eggs that are less than 2 days old. I collect the eggs on the day before and on the day that the eggs are shipped. I have better than a 97% successful hatch rate at my farm. Due to circumstances beyond my control during shipping, I can not guarantee that the eggs will hatch. Please give feedback on how the eggs arrive, not on how well they hatch. I have no control of how well they hatch.
