The Global Tech LED Solstice unit, GTSOLM21 L.E.D, is a new and innovative product designed to retrofit into any HID fixture with ease. Custom fabricated brackets and plates allow for a plug and play installation process. The unit boasts a variety of innovative optics to deliver light in precisely targeted areas. Additionally, it is Dark Sky Compliant and features four switchable power options on board. The Energy Saver program, accessible via a switch on the board, is another added bonus. Multiple mounting positions are available for a broad range of narrow to spread symmetrically lighting distribution choices. The unit comes with a limited 10-year warranty, directly from the manufacturer. Please note that the LED has numbers on it, allowing the manufacturer to determine when it was manufactured. Drivers for the unit are also available for sale and can be seen in the listing picture. Some of the key features of this unit include multiple temperature control values, overheating protection, shutdown at critical temperature, and resumption of operation at a safe temperature. Under voltage lockout for power off or brownout is also included, as well as 0-10 V dimming compatibility and occupancy sensing current accuracy. The unit offers 4 wattage selections by switch: 30W, 40W, 50W, and 60W. The solstice unit is paired with a driver with a 50/60Hz ballast and input voltage of 60W step down ballast from input voltage to 24V to the unit. There is also an option for 480V / 100W ballast. The LED unit can operate at either 24V without a driver or with input voltages of 120-277v and 480vAC / 24vDC for solar-powered applications. This LED retrofit also features MagLevВ® Fan Technology, with magnetic levitation force and no-contact between shaft and bearing. The fan boasts 100,000 hours rated operating life, providing an exceptionally cool running LED unit, even at ambient temperatures of -42Es Celsius. The operating temperature range for the unit is -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
