Offering: Largest size wedge style (No. 2 Hempel) letterpress quoins. Includes six pair of 4 inch Challenge Co., also known as No. 2 Hempel wedge style quoin and Jumbo, which is the largest of three sizes that this style of quoin was made in. Two pieces or halves are required to lock up a form in a chase. This larger quoin is ideal for locking up larger press sizes as well as Proof press beds. Length of quoin is approx. 4 inches long. The No. 2 quoin key included will only work on a No. 2 quoin, as the teeth on the quoins are at a different distance apart. The third and forth picture are of one side and the flip side of the quoins. If the teeth get chewed up as they some times do from heavy use in large print shops the quoins will become useless because the quoins cannot be tightened properly. All the quoins have been checked as you will see in photos all teeth are straight and not damaged. As you can see in photos a few quoins have the Challenge Co., CMC logo, the remainder have blank cast into the steel. Total weight of the quoins and key in 2 pounds 13 ounces before shipping box or packing material. This offering includes FREE Expedited Shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
