VetScan HMT You're bidding on an Abaxis VetScan HMT Hematology Analyzer ! The Abaxis Vetscan HMT is a veterinary hematology analyzer with automated sample handling that provides 18 parameters using only 12ml of whole blood. This unit measures WBC with three-part WBC differential, RBC, THR, and Hb, and calculates Lym%, Lym#, Mon%, Mon#, Gra%, Gra#, MCV, Hct, MCH, MCHC, RDW, MPV, Pct, and RDW. It also provides WBC, RBC and platelet cellular histograms which are available on-screen or as a print-out. 8 selectable species are available (dog, cat, horse, cow, pig, parrot, goat, sheep) as weel as 2 user-configurable programs. The system stores up to 100 CBC results and has multiple result printout options. It can be interfaced to the VetScan Chemistry Analyzer for comprehensive laboratory analysis or integrated with a computer to import data to various veterinary software programs. This unit was private labeled for Abaxis, and is the same as the Melet Schloesing MS4. This system was recently decommissioned from a clinic that closed. It is in very nice condition and it is very clean internally. It was missing the key, so the cover lock has been removed, but this does not affect the operation of the unit (I have the latch parts if you want to install a new cylinder). The carrier and needle transport mechanisms have been disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated with Teflon and they operate perfectly. The unit powers on and goes through the self-test functions successfully, attempts to prime, and comes to the "Ready" screen when prompted. The display has no defects and the keypad is in excellent condition with firm, positive button engagement. The menus are navigable and all available functions operate correctly. Further testing was not possible without a reagent pack, but there are completed test results stored in the memory that indicate the unit was functioning properly when it was decommissioned. The unit comes with a medical grade power cord, and I will include a pdf copy of the manual if you need one. I'm selling this analyzer guaranteed to be as described.
