Acrylic Block with Five Chambers; marked CRC Chemical Rubber Co This is an acrylic block composed of two plates, 6" long x 2.5" wide x 0.5" thick. Both plates are machined to have five recesses so that when assembled, as in the photos, there are five chambers. Each chamber has two holes drilled and tapped to a 6-32 UNC thread. The plates are held together by seven 10-32 UNC stainless steel bolts. I do not know whether this block was meant to be a reaction vessel or an ornament. For either purpose it might interest a chemist. CONDITION The block is in good condition. None of the corners or edges are chipped and there are no scratches. There is some very fine crazing in the bolt holes, barely visible in the largest scale photograph. No original documentation or packaging is available. PACKAGING Will be packed with foam or bubble wrap in a box of corrugated paper, approximately 22 cm x 8.5 cm x 6 cm. Gross weight is 0.41 kg. PAYMENT & DELIVERY A buyer may appear in person and pay by cash, PayPal, bank draft or certified cheque.
