Adams Maxwell model 1201 – 2 Coil Winder You are looking at a used Adams Maxwell coil Winder with traversing. All foot pedals as well as an extra external traversing assembly is also included. This machine has been setting for about 7 to 8 years every since we had bought out another companies coil winding machinery. I plugged up this machine and tried it out. I do not have a manual to set it up to test the digital functions of this machine, but however the basic coil Winder turned on and I was able to run it, all three winding speed ranges worked properly the variable speed foot petal for this winder worked well in each of the three speed ranges. The counter though I do not know how to set it up did count properly when this spindle was running. I also attempted to check out the traversing assembly again I do not have a manual to set it up, however it did come on and I was able after spraying it good with lubricant get it to go back and forth with the jog buttons on the top of control box. It appears that the traversing assembly will need a good cleaning and lubricating; but will definitely need some service. This particular Winder was originally a very expensive package. These winders are sold with only the basic winding head and counter; then you would have paid extra for all of the other options. So this particular package includes all the extra options, such as tailstock and traversing assembly as well as the external foot pedal controls; and multiple wire guides. The extra traversing assembly was not tested and may need to be serviced, or used for parts. I have tried to describe the condition of this machine to the best of my ability; however because it has been setting for a while and I have no manual to properly test all of the digital functions of this machine; it is being sold as is; and there is no warranty offered or is any warranty implied.
