You are considering an AEM "Narrobelt" 37" Wide Belt Sander.  This sander is used, in fair overall condition and we have listed it as "for parts or not working".  However, this sander does run. We have listed it as "not working" due to the fact that we cannot test it under load because we do not have a sanding belt that fits it.  We have hooked power and air to the machine and the main motor, conveyor and belt tracking system seem to work fine.  We tested the tracking system simply by breaking the photoelectric beam. The original tracking system was upgraded to a Opcon 1411 photoelectric system by the previous owner. The pneumatics shifted the top roll back and forth, so we assume the belt tracking will work as it should. The sander does have some issues that may need to be addressed before putting it into production, which I will explain below.  This sander is being sold AS IS, UNTESTED.  Mfg. By: Abrasive Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc (AEM)  Minneapolis, MN (made in USA) Model: NBS-370 Serial No: MO-2611 Main Drive Motor: Baldor 15 HP, 3,450 RPM, 230/460V 3 Phase (machine is currently wired for 230V operation) Conveyor Drive Motor: 1/2HP with variable speed gearbox Issues we've noticed that may need addressed before using: The bottom drive roll has a few bad spots in it (see 7th and 8th pictures). Since we don't have a sanding belt, we have been unable to test and see if these spots will cause problems. One of the small rubber coated out-feed rollers needs re-coated or replaced (see 8th picture). It may not cause a problem as is, but we have been unable to test it. One of the take-up adjustment screws has been bent on the conveyor (see last picture). We have run the conveyor and the belt tracks fine. You can still adjust the tracking on the bent side using the larger screw if needed. The conveyor belt has a few bad spots here and there. Again, we have been unable to test under working conditions, so we are not sure if this will be a problem or not. The "safety-tape" switch that goes around the conveyor is damaged and was disconnected by the previous owner. The sander runs without it, but you may want to replace it and hook it back up for safe operation. The control switches are labeled backwards. The one that says conveyor starts the sanding belt and vice versa. Possibly wired wrong by the previous owner when he replaced the tracking control or disconnected the safety tape switch. Also, one of the small stop switches doesn't work, but the other small one and the bigger safety stop turns everything off. This should be a simple fix by someone with some electrical experience. The guard door that covers the drive belts is missing. (see 4th picture)  These are the main issues we found when test running the sander. There may be other minor issues we overlooked or that may appear when the sander is run under working conditions.  Again, this sander is being sold AS IS, UNTESTED.
