The direct reading tester measures from 0 to 2000Ω, with auto-ranging that automatically determines the optimum resistance range and test current. It is designed for ease of use, with “connect–press–read” operation, a large easy-to-read LCD screen, user alerts, and color-coded terminals that match color-coded leads and probes. Ground-resistance meters are used by electricians and contractors working in industrial, utility, and field servicing. The AEMC 4620 tester is engineered to reject high levels of noise and interference for use under difficult conditions, such as high stray currents that normally affect accuracy. It exceeds IEC mechanical and safety specifications for shock, vibration, and drop tests. The kit includes two color-coded 150ft. leads on spools (one red, one blue), one 30ft. lead (green), two 14.5" T-shaped auxiliary ground electrodes, one set of five spaded lugs, 100ft. tape measure, and a safety-yellow carrying bag.
